Learning to be a dental assistant is a tough gig. Not only do you have to remember a hundred different tools, know how to organise them into distinct and not so distinct procedure packs, learn Latin words for body surfaces, learn how to deal with various bodily fluids and keep them invisible, but you also have to be nice and friendly even when you are run flat off your feet in a whirlwind of different personalities and expectations.
If your lucky you will have studied the theory with a Certificate 3 in dental assisting. If not then you just have to think quick. Welcome to the deep end girls. Swim hard then…just keep swimming, just keep swimming…
